On 7-10 November, the Youth Training Centre “Kuźnia” held a Life and Freedom Week in Warsaw. As part of the event, there were a number of discussions and lectures aimed at raising awareness of the pathology of the planet of economy, politics and threats to the Church.
The event began with a panel on education, entitled “War on the soul of the Polish school”, during which debated on the threats of education. The conversation was attended by prominent people from the planet of Polish education, specified as curator Barbara Nowak, teacher, author and proxy of the Minister of Education for the basics and textbooks Dr Artur Górecki and educator Prof. Aleksander Nalaskowski.
In the statements, it was peculiarly emphasized that the Polish school should be free from ideology from increasingly bold leftist force groups. The last section of the event was a discussion entitled “Economic crisis — Real Causes”. Participants, composed of ed. Łukasz Warzecha, writer associated with Polonia Christian and Super Express, Paweł Młynarek, president of the KoLiber Society, Andrzej Sadowski, economist and founder of the Free marketplace Center. Adam Smith and Dr. Cezary Mach, advisors to the president of the NBP and erstwhile Deputy Finance Minister, considered, among others, the importance and impact of the energy transition on the planet economy, the question of "sustainable development" and "integrity economy" in Pope Francis' encyclical and the validity of the Paris Agreement, which obliges signatories to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
The event was organized on the initiative of the Piotr Skarga Association. crucial co-organizers were the Ordo Iuris Institute, the Center of Life and Family, the Pro Foundation — Right to Life, the KoLiber Society, the TRIS Foundation, the Multibook Bookstore, the Ordo Medicus Institute and the All-Polish Youth Association.
