EDIP: Aid to arms and concrete monopolies in the EU?

The Sobieski Institute hosted representatives of defence industry, media and non-governmental organizations to discuss and submit proposals for changes to the EDIP project, the EU arms support initiative. Although the fund amounts to EUR 1.5 billion, as the Euro MP Michał Dworzyk EDIP says, it will constitute a formal precedent and a legal basis for further EU support projects for the defence sector. Hence, it is crucial to take into account the interests of Polish industry.
