EDA: evidence defence expenditure in Europe, low on its own technologies

Last year's defence spending in Europe amounted to €240 billion – 6% more than the year before; this was the eighth consecutive year of growth – summarised the European Defence Agency (EDA) in an yearly study published on 30 November.
