ECOWAS countries have developed a plan for possible military intervention in Niger

The defence chiefs of the economical Community of West African States (ECOWAS) have drawn up a plan for possible military intervention in Niger if junta leaders do not cede power to democratically elected president Mohamed Bazoum, said Abdel-Fatau Musah, ECOWAS Commissioner for Policy, Peace and safety after a gathering in Abuja.
