The number of foreigners suspected of participating in organised crime has increased markedly. Over the course of the year, it increased by almost half – according to findings based on data from the Central Bureau of Police Investigation. Last year, 265 foreigners associated with criminal groups were charged, or 81 more than a year earlier. The vast majority – about 80 percent – are Russian-speaking people.

Experts indicate that this phenomenon is not an accidental phenomenon, but the effect of expanding rooting of criminal groups from the erstwhile russian Union in Poland. At the same time, there is simply a decline in the number of home gangs being broken up, with an increase in global structures.

A peculiar concern is the dynamic increase in the number of suspects from any countries – almost 4 times in Belarus and about 2 times in Armenia. This indicates the expanding scale and diversity of abroad criminal ties.

Studies show that individual groups frequently specialise in circumstantial activities. Belarusian criminals focus, among others, on cigaret smuggling, utilizing different methods of transport. In turn Georgian groups are associated mainly with burglaries and thefts of valuables, specified as luxury watches or jewelry. For Ukrainian citizens, participation in organised financial fraud, including through distant contact centres, is frequently indicated.

Experts emphasize that modern organized crime is becoming increasingly hard to detect. In addition to forceful activities, areas specified as cybercrime, trafficking in human beings, and complex economical and customs fraud play an increasingly crucial role.

Comment: It is worth noting that, as a consequence of the decisions of the Warsaw authorities, which support illegal immigration to Poland, the crime of foreigners in Poland is almost the same as in the countries of “Union I speed”. It's scary to think what happens next. Politicians, what have you done to our beloved Republic?
