"The Acts of Poland" - the most crucial Polish book after 1989, translated into j.ang. and j.niem.!

In addition, Prof. Andrzej Nowak is besides 1 of the leading experts in Russia in the world. His book “Poland and Russia” is an crucial analysis showing the sources of hard centuries of past between Poland and Russia. The author reaches to the roots of both nations, showing the differences between Russian and Polish mentality, where the erstwhile went towards self-rentalism, while the second developed towards the love of freedom.

Both of these works, i.e. 5 volumes of “Dzeczy Polski” and “Poland and Russia”, were now published in English and German. Prof. Nowak emphasizes the long-term confrontation between nations and encourages reflection on the challenges of the modern world, in which Russia has its supporters – besides in Poland.

It is besides worth to add that prof. Andrzej Nowak has already finished writing the sixth volume of “Dzeczy Polski”, which will be released in early November (of course in Polish). The sixth part of prof. Nowak's monumental series will bear the subtitle "The Flood and Fire" and will focus on 1632-1673.
