Two airports abruptly closed. "Operates Polish and Allied Aviation"

Due to Russia's attack on Ukraine, NATO countries, including Poland, picked up fighters. The airports in Rzeszów and Lublin were temporarily closed. "These activities are preventive in nature and are geared towards securing and protecting airspace," reported the Operations Command of the RSZ.


"In connection with the Russian Federation's attack on objects located in the territory of Ukraine, Polish and allied aviation operates in our airspace" - we read in the Communication of the Operational Command of the Russian Federation. In order to give freedom of operation of aviation, the airports in Rzeszów and Lublin were temporarily closed.
