Danish Modernism – about the appearance of the “Antichrist” in the opera

The Rued Langgaard to compose had an intuitive and anti-scientific approach. He liked to break conventions and consistently followed a separate path. He saw himself and his music as part of a larger whole. Above all, he was convinced of the almost unlimited power of music. He felt that it could change the life of man, society, and even the world.
