In an interview with Poland24, Andrzej Duda admitted that his wife deliberately avoided media publicity. “The speech is silver and the silence is gold,” he said, adding that Agata Duda was of the opinion that her husband was elected president, and that he should be active in politics.
A minute later, Duda pointed out that his wife was afraid of media traps that in the past affected Maria Kaczyńska. Agata Duda intended to focus on real aid to those in need, distant from flashes.
– I want to bring good to people, not for cameras to movie it and the media to comment, just to improve their situation and to truly aid them," the president emphasized in consequence to a question about the actions of his wife.
Duda defends his wife
