President Andrzej Duda was a guest of Channel Zero. In the studio he spoke for respective hours with Robert Mazurek and Krzysztof Stanowski, and besides received calls from live viewers. 1 of the callers raised the issue of pardoning PiS politicians. The president replied decisively.

– Ladies, first of all, delight do not insinuate and I can tell you yes, it is you who is lying due to the fact that you are mistaking what I said – the president replied harshly.

Duda explained that he never claimed that no company had fallen due to a pandemic. “I just said that we tried to conduct specified a policy at the time to save as many jobs,” he said.

He besides expressed compassion for the situation of the interviewer. He assured that if he himself or another entitled individual applied for a pardon, he would be considered "insightly and in accordance with all the rules".

Regarding Kamiński and Wąsik, the president said he had decided to pardon them due to the fact that "he knows their case personally".

– I was in the government at the time erstwhile these decisions were made, and I know what the motivations were and what decisions they made. And I believe that the fight against corruption, which was then implemented by the Government of Law and Justice, was a salvation for Poland in the situation where Poland was – said Duda.

The president pointed out that their subsequent prosecution for fighting corruption was an expression of discontent with influential people in the country, "that they could no longer be taken due to the fact that they were afraid." Finally, he again expressed regret about the viewer's situation. “But I am asking you not to address me like this due to the fact that it is simply unfair,” he added.
