During the second half of 2025, Marco Rubio made a full of 14 authoritative abroad trips, while visiting 11 countries (Asia, Europe, North America and South America). any visits were besides held in the United States, mainly in Washington, D.C., with 52 meetings recorded.

A noteworthy gathering was a visit by Israeli abroad Minister Gideon Sa’ar to the State Department in Washington, D.C., which took place on 27 August 2025. During the meeting, safety issues in the mediate East were discussed. On 8 December 2025, Marco Rubio met with Australian abroad Minister Penny Wong before the 35th Australian-American ministerial consultations. During the meeting, participants discussed the Indo-Pacific region.

As many as 3 of the visits took place in Israel, this shows the importance of the country in the United States policy. Contacts with this country are besides crucial in the context of safety issues, and the discussions concerned, among others, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the situation in Gaza or the repercussions of the Israeli attack on Qatar.

In addition to visiting Israel, Marco Rubio besides visited Qatar and Egypt, where the Peace Summit in Sharm El-Sheik took place. Both visits afraid safety issues in the mediate East.

Also noteworthy was the 47th ASEAN Summit, within which Secretary Marco Rubio held many meetings with representatives of another countries, including China, the Philippines, Japan and South Korea.

Two of the last mentioned countries, i.e. Japan and South Korea Rubio visited immediately after the summit in Malaysia. The journey to the region was aimed at promoting peace and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific area, which shows the strategical commitment and importance of the region in United States policy.

In early September 2025, Secretary Rubio visited Mexico and Ecuador. During the visits, the subject of action to destruct cartels, halt fentanyl trade, put an end to illegal immigration, and reduce the trade deficit. It is worth emphasizing that this was Rubio's 4th visit to the Western Hemisphere, which shows the United States' commitment to protecting borders and neutralising drug-terrorism threats.

Marco Rubio besides visited European countries. During a gathering in London, the secretary joined president Trump's delegation. During a gathering with British abroad Minister Yvette Cooper, cooperation between the US and Britain on key global challenges, including the end of the Russian-Ukrainian War, preventing Iran from gaining atomic weapons, ensuring the release of all Hamas hostages and ceasefires in the Gaza Strip and rivalry with China.

The issue of Russian aggression against Ukraine was a key issue discussed during the visit to Switzerland in November, where negotiations on a peace plan for Ukraine took place. The talks were a continuation of the Kananaskis summit at the beginning of the year. The discussions focused on the implementation of peace initiatives in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip as well as maritime security.

In the second half of the year, Secretary Marco Rubio besides held respective twelve telephone calls. The secretary had peculiarly frequent contacts with representatives of Saudi Arabia, France, the United arabian Emirates and the United Kingdom. These talks mainly afraid safety issues in the mediate East.

In summary, in the second half of 2025, Marco Rubio's travels and meetings highlighted US safety priorities in the mediate East, the stableness of the Indo-Pacific region and the fight against drug cartels. Many visits to Israel, Qatar and Egypt, as well as engagement in Asia and Europe, strengthened alliances and crisis management. Overall, Marco Rubio's actions point to a focus on strengthening partnerships while addressing regional conflicts and global safety challenges.
