The territory Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk brought to court an indictment against 3 men in connection with a immense hall fire at Siennicka in Gdańsk. 27-year-old Norbert C., 38-year-old Paul S. and 46-year-old Daniel S. were to gather large amounts of flammable materials in the building – all to produce drugs on a immense scale.
Let us remind – in February of this year there was a fire in the erstwhile ZNTK hall, which digested most of the building and caused losses estimated at over PLN 38 million. The fire covered 65 percent of the historical complex, which included Mevo bikes, medical equipment and phase equipment. According to investigative findings before the fire in the hall, there was a drug laboratory in which the accused produced large-scale clefedron.
According to investigators, the defendants fled the facility as the fire began to spread. They didn't call the fire department, which delayed the rescue. Norbert C. will besides answer for breach of safety rules and possession of drugs on the day of detention. Paul S. and Daniel S. will hear allegations of bringing a threat to the lives of many people and destroying the hall along with historical objects that were located inside the hall – from elements of the erstwhile orphanage to fragments of ecclesiastical equipment.
All 3 have been in custody since April. They're facing 10 years in prison.
