The Russian Federation's massive attack on Ukraine and the resulting multiple violations of the Polish airspace by "dron objects" was reported in the morning by Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish. “There is an operation over Poland to neutralize objects that breached the Polish border,” wrote the head of the MON after 4am on the X portal. He noted that the aircraft had utilized weapons and that territorial defence troops were active in searching for fragments of shot down drones.
In its morning communication, the Operations Command of the Armed Forces Types stated that "it had reached unprecedented in scale of invasion of Polish airspace by drones". “This act of aggression has created a real threat to the safety of our citizens,” says the Communication.
Before 8.00, DORSZ reported that “the operation of Polish and allied aviation related to violations of Polish airspace has ended”. “The search for and location of possible falls of objects that breached Polish airspace continues”, assured the command.

The president and government immediately reacted to the breach of airspace by Russian drones. The commander of the armed forces announced an urgent gathering of the National safety Council with the participation of the Prime Minister and the heads of ministries liable for security. A peculiar government gathering is besides scheduled today. As Deputy Minister of defence Cezary Tomczyk wrote earlier in social media, "the place of action is Prime Minister Donald Tusk".
