Head of the FCAS Programme at Airbus Defence and Space, Bruno Fichefeux, seeks to emphasise the importance of the European, and in rule present German-Franco-Spanish programme, for the improvement of the concept of the usage of various classes of unmanned flying vessels on the battlefield. Future Combat Air System, is simply a comprehensive program for the improvement of the Air Combat strategy of the Future, as its name says. At its center are manned aircraft, surrounded by unmanned machines, which are expected to execute the most hard tasks and be constant support and protection for the most valuable and costly component of the full strategy — man and his aircraft.
