Another drone workshop was completed, which was organized by the 125th light infantry battalion in Leszno. The training was besides attended by soldiers from another WOT brigades as well as representatives of civilian associations.

Drones are very precise and effective devices that conquer all types of services, including the Armed Forces around the world. They revolutionize the battlefield and the anticipation of distant control importantly reduces the hazard of a soldier. BSP (Unmanned Air Systems) can besides be utilized for emergency response. 125 blp in Leszno already organized for the second time DRONOWISKO – a two-day workshop to which soldiers from almost all WOT brigades and soldiers of the Operations Army were invited, as well as civilian associations. This time, the event was applicable based on the school and area in Nowy Belęcin. The second command post was in the General School Complex in Gostyń. Soldiers utilized the ATAK app to carry out their activities.
The workshops were a bilateral exercise (a form of tactical or operational exercise in which the teams practicing execute as opposing parties). The task of the teams was to analyse key points, areas to control space and insight into the field. Drones are an excellent strategy for reconnaissance. An ambush was besides planned during the exercise.

The first edition of DRONOWIska was focused on explanation and exchange of observations. Now we have set a 100 percent on applicable exercises and trying to rip off teams, among others, with light infantry activities – says Colonel Wojciech GOSIEWSKI, commander of 125 Leszczyński Light Infantry Battalion.

Thanks to the presence of BSP in WOT, light infantry soldiers can conduct more effective reconnaissance and impact. The script of the workshop included coordinating the ambush with the cooperation of light infantry and drones as well as reporting the movement of opposing forces.
