A dramatic taxation increase is going to hit another industry? "We call for veto"

As of 1 January 2026, the Polish beverage manufacture will face major challenges related to
a government-planned increase in the sugar levy. The draft amendment provides for
a nine-fold increase in the caffeine and taurine allowance plus a double increase in the excess rate
sugar. Experts and producers are on alert. In the meantime, she'll make a decision soon.
