Church Fund – hundreds of millions from the state
In 2025, the Church Fund will be over 275 million PLN from the state budget. Although the current government announced the liquidation of this fund, or its limitation, the amount is 20 million more than last year. 95 per cent of it is contributions to social safety for clergy.
The remaining 5% are usually allocated to charitable activities, renovations, preservation of historical sacral objects. The Church Fund works for about 170 Churches and another spiritual unions with regulated legal status.
