Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump they had a two-hour telephone conversation on Tuesday during which they discussed issues concerning Ukraine. As reported by the Russian origin CNN, the conversation went “very well”, and both leaders agreed that the ongoing conflict had to end in a lasting peace.
Trump's talk — Putin commented on 49-year-old Kiryl Dmitriev, who was appointed by Vladimir Putin in February as a peculiar typical for abroad investment cooperation.

“Under the leadership of president Vladimir Putin and president Donald Trump, the planet has become a much safer place today! Historical! Great!” wrote president Vladimir Putin and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kiril Dmitriev on platform X.
Politician belongs to the closest collaborators of Vladimir Putin, and by analysts is even considered a possible future successor to the president of Russia.

During a two-hour conversation with Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin pointed out, among others, that "the key condition for halting the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine must be the complete cessation of abroad military assistance and the exchange of intelligence information with Kiev".
The Kremlin besides stressed that "any solution in Ukraine must take account of the causes of the crisis and the safety interests of Russia".
