Screen Donald Tusk TwitterPrime Minister Donald Tusk and Deputy Minister Aleksandra Gajewska took part in an authoritative gathering organised on the occasion of the second anniversary of the entry into force of the Active Parent Programme, commonly referred to as "grandmother".
The event was attended by families with tiny children, and the coverage of the celebrations and excerpts of the government chief's speech were made available on social media. During the meeting, the Prime Minister posed for commemorative photographs with his parents and held the youngest participants in the meeting.
The head of government referred in his speech to individual household experiences, paying attention to the function of parents' support in regular upbringing:
"I am so personally touched that we can meet present on the two-year anniversary of this “grandmother” programme. Sometimes I like to say "grandfather" due to the fact that I feel part of this community, too. I truly wanted this project.”
