On Friday morning, a secret session of the Sejm ended, during which, at the request of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Members listened to information about the safety of the state. Although the Chancellery of the Sejm did not mention the subject of the speech, it was speculated that the key component would be the cryptosphere.
Polish services previously signaled possible usage of cryptocurrency for activities of groups related to Russian peculiar services and for financing diversion operations in Poland. After secret deliberations in the Sejm, erstwhile Minister of improvement and Technology, Krzysztof Paszyk of PSL, admitted that in fact "the Russian footprint [on cryptocurrency] was a very crucial component of this information".
Donald Tusk: Key importance for the safety of Poland
After the session was declassified, the Sejm dealt with the rejection of a presidential veto to the cryptocurrency marketplace bill. In the afternoon Donald Tusk again entered the parliament platform. "What I will say now is crucial for Poland's security," he stressed.
Decide who you want to defend in Poland? Human money, business, from the smallest investors, the safety of the state or the Russian mafia that invests in these projects? Who are you trying to protect? This is simply a vote, about nothing more," said the head of the government.
And he said, "Get it together! It's not a policy. We're talking about a situation where a company, a leading company on the market, co-financed by Russian money, whose name I passed on at a secret gathering that feels like gentlemen in the salons of the right... Do you realize that the company in which the missing people, Russian money, are in the background, is besides a sponsor of activities that are curious in the top organization officers and public opinion leaders on the right?
