“I can say with large satisfaction that this gathering was very fruitful for the Polish Presidency. It has not come to an end with formal decisions, but the intentions of the full EU "twenty sevens" to velocity up Europe's arms and make it a safer place are clear," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk after talks at the informal summit of European Union leaders in Brussels.

— It is crucial that our words about solidarity with Denmark are not just slogans, but are aware of taking on possible challenges," Tusk said. “For the European Union, territorial integrity is undisputed and we will treat it as a precedence for the full community,” he stressed.

— This was a very crucial minute for all of us and everyone confirmed their willingness to have a very serious discussion on minimising the negative effects of the brexit," added Tusk, mentioning that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer was besides invited to the summit.

Tusk besides stated that "there has been specified a good relation between the EU and the UK since the brexit".

— There is simply a gigantic common space for defence and production capabilities. This must be seen as a task worth sharing," he said.
