“We are finalising the treaty between Poland and France, and I hope it will be signed soon,” announced Donald Tusk after the summit of the “voluntary coalition”, on the margins of which he spoke with president Emmanuel Macron, the host of the event. The Polish Prime Minister stressed that the agreement could be a "breakdown" in terms of common safety guarantees between Warsaw and Paris.
Tusk said at a press conference in Paris that, by the way, Summit of the ‘voluntary coalition’ – the Allied States of Ukraine, with the participation of EU and NATO representatives – met in "four eyes" with the president of France, with whom he discussed, among others, bilateral relations between both countries.

On detailing a treaty on enhanced relationship and cooperation between Poland and France said the Minister for abroad Affairs already in January Radosław Sikorski. He then argued that the fresh treaty would constitute important impulse for Polish-French relationsand its finalization will take place in the coming months.
