Donald Trump has paid author E. Jean Carroll about $5.625 million in damages as part of a sexual harassment and defamation settlement, after the ultimate Court rejected his appeal. However, the US president is inactive haunted by the spectre of paying a much higher amount – $83 million from the writer's second defamation lawsuit.
