US president Donald Trump has abandoned his plan to introduce a 20 percent fee for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. As he explained during a press conference at the White House, after talks with the leaders of the Gulf countries, he decided that investments by these countries in the American economy would be a more advantageous solution.
