Donald Trump threatens China with higher duties and cancels the gathering with Xi Jinping

The conflict between the US and China is getting worse again. Donald Trump threatened on Friday with a "mass" increase in customs duties on goods from China and cancellation of the planned gathering with president Xi Jinping. This is simply a reaction to the tightening control of uncommon earth exports by the government in Beijing.
