On 14 July 2024, in Domostaw, Podkarpacie, a long-awaited unveiling of the monument to the victims of the Volhynia Rzeża – the Ukrainians' crime on Poles started in the years of planet War II and continued until 1947. According to various estimates at the time, the Ukrainians murdered up to 250 1000 Poles in an highly savage way.
Many municipalities in Poland refused to accept the location of this monument – by Andrzej Pityński – in their territory. Also, the absence of any official, including the president, who had late ordered the late priest Tadeusz Isakowicz-Zaleski – in the question of the Volhyńska Reich – “weighting the words” – shows how far the intentions of the alleged authorities of the 3rd Republic of Poland are missed with the intentions of many Poles. But I don't think there's much to regret. erstwhile again, it turned out that the immediate political interest and defence of another people's affairs are far more crucial to the “elite” of the 3rd Republic of Poland than to the remembrance of thousands of victims of Ukrainian genocide.
The monument in Domastawa is simply a social initiative, which did not affect any paws of the corrupt political apparatus of the 3rd Republic of Poland. You might say it was made against that camera. Good for you! It could destruct this initiative.
We encourage you to see the full account of yesterday's celebrations in Domastawa.
