A Coalition Position for Life and Family
As a Coalition, a group of respective twelve organisations working to defend life and family, we express large concern and strong opposition to the draft regulations of the Ministry of National Education concerning the introduction of 2 fresh subjects from 1 September 2025: “Health Education” and “Citizen Education”.
Our main concern is the draft regulation, which includes the introduction of the subject “Health Education” to Polish schools. Under this name, which suggests caring about a very crucial aspect of life, which undoubtedly is the care of health, it is planned, among another things, to conduct permissive sexual education, referring to immense controversy, not only in Poland, but worldwide, “standards” of the planet wellness Organization (WHO) from 2010. The MEN’s assumptions state that “Health Education” is to be mandatory in primary schools
and over-basic and replaces education to live in the household (HEAD), which is optional.
As we read in the curriculum of the proposed subject, the program of sexual education at different levels of teaching is intended to cover issues specified as autosexual behavior, psychosexual orientation (heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, asexuality), sex identity (community and transgenderity), LGBTQ+ communities, contraception and abortion as wellness services for women, in vitro method as 1 of the methods of treating infertility.
The above mentioned elements of the curriculum of the subject “health education” clearly indicate an effort to introduce content for Polish schools, which, alternatively of positively affecting the improvement of children and young people, will service to corrupt them. We do not agree that in Polish schools, and as part of a compulsory subject on a widely understood wellness subject, “knowledge” will be passed on to students, which will endanger their appropriate psychosexual development.
The introduction of a compulsory subject “health education”, which will be 1 of the effects of sexualisation and depravity of pupils (from the 4th grade of primary school), is unacceptable and drastically violates the rights of the kid and parents, and is contrary to constitutional guarantees which grant parents the right to rise children according to their own beliefs. Therefore, we powerfully request the withdrawal of the task of introducing “Health Education” to Polish schools in the form proposed by MEN.
We invitation you to participate in the demonstration “So for Education Not for Depravation‘
1 December at 12.00 at the Castle Square in Warsaw.
