This school year is slow coming to an end, but many people are already starting to think about the next year. It's no wonder, due to the fact that it's quite a few money for parents. But there's besides good news. Pupils can receive an additional benefit and the call for applications starts on 1 July.
Once a year, all student in Poland can number on government support under the Good Start program. It amounts to PLN 300 and is paid at the request of parents, guardians or full-time student. Importantly, you can apply for a grant of 300 plus from 1 July to 30 November 2025. After this time, only the parents of pupils over the age of 20 may submit applications, which will receive a disability ruling after 30 November.

The Good Start program starts in a fewer weeks. You can receive 300 PLN for school expedition
Submission of an application for a grant of 300 plus by the end of August guarantees payment of funds by the end of September. In turn, completion of the formalities later results in the granting of the benefit within 2 months of the submission of the application. Therefore, it is better not to hold and apply for 300 plus as shortly as possible.


Currently, you can only request Good Start by electronic means in 1 of the following ways:

through the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) ZUS,
on the portal Emp@tia.
through electronic banking,
in the mZUS application.


Who's entitled to a 300 plus? Students must meet respective conditions
Although the benefit of 300 plus is due to all student, there are besides certain conditions: ages from 7 to 20 years (24 in the case of a disability ruling), attendance in the Polish primary or secondary school and surviving in Poland - both children and parents (careers). Consequently, children attending zeros and kindergartens and students cannot benefit from the Good Start.
