Monthly wage for each mother
The proposal made in a petition filed at the President's office concerns a peculiar wage for any female who gives birth to a child. The amount of the mother's wage would depend on the number of children and be calculated on the basis of the minimum wage. For the first child, a female would receive half the minimum wage - at the current rate it is PLN 2333 per month. With 2 children, the amount would increase to 100 percent of the minimum wage and with three, to 150 percent. The maximum rate, for 4 children, would be 2 minimum salaries, or PLN 9332 per month.
Importantly, the remuneration received would besides include a future pension. This is not the end, of course, due to the fact that in addition to the "mother's salary" families with children should be provided with another valid benefits. This is primarily about 800 plus and announced by president Nawrocki to rise the second taxation threshold to PLN 140 1000 per year.
There are many ideas. Others besides point to a 7-hour working day
It turns out that introducing a "mother's salary" is not the only thought to fight the deepening in our country than the demographic. In July, a petition by Jakub Paduch and Zuzanna Słoczyńska-Paduch was sent to the Sejm, which advocated, among others, shortening working time from 8 to 7 hours, extending leave and introducing more precise rules on the protection of parents from discrimination. "Subjective changes will undoubtedly make certain economical effects, constituting at least part of the demands a crucial cost. However, in view of the lowest fertility level in history, in view of the origin essential for a simple substitution of generations, this is the cost that we must bear as a society" - wrote the petitioners.
Will any of the ideas be implemented? Time will tell.
