The Norwegian handball squad was punished by the global Handball Federation for different singing of the anthem before the match with South Korea. It was about order in line.
The contestants alternatively of setting up by numbers, as prescribed by the regulations, set up by... height. The Federation imposed 2 000 euro penalties on them, which, as they admitted, hurt them greatly.
One of the contestants explained that the thought of setting up according to tallness was nothing new. Footballers tend to go out on the field by numbers and form ranks. The players then change their seats and adjust according to height. with the captain in the lead. For the squad it is simply a talisman – the football player convinced.
For their next match, during which they faced Kazakhstan, the Norwegians lined up by law.
