The Naval Hydrographic Office is liable – in accordance with the Law on Marine Areas of the Republic of Poland – for keeping a registry of hazardous materials. Data from the registry are intended to aid systematize cognition of hazardous materials and facilitate the planning of investments in Polish maritime areas.
