Why did the Solidarity story fall?

The guest of the episode is Dr. Tomasz Kozłowski, historian and author of the book “Anatomics of the Revolution. The birth of the social movement ‘Solidarity’ in 1980. The subject of the discussion is the beginnings of "Solidarity", its importance as a social movement and the function of Lech Wałęsa as a leader.

In the second part, the consequences of martial law are discussed, divisions in the solidarity elites in the 1990s and the causes of erosion of the story of “Solidarity” in the 3rd Republic. The conversation is led by Jarosław Kuisz and Adam Leszczyński.
