An amazing interview, with an highly sad sound, was given by the Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domanski, who yesterday in the program "Graffiti" in Polsat News on the question ed. Marcin Fijołek said that "the Lord will not shake his hand on the immunity vote and arrest for Zbigniew Ziobro" with a grin on his face said, "He will not tremble. There are moments for which 1 lives.” Then he completed this sad consequence by answering another journalist's question: "Minister Czarnek speaks of savagery towards a sick man", disguising Minister Ziobro's severe oncological illness, saying "The 1 is healthy, erstwhile sick." This full passage of the journalist's conversation with the minister powerfully confirms that he is in politics and performs this honorable function in the government to prosecute a blind revenge plan on his predecessors, including Minister Ziobro.
It is simply a shocking confession of a man who is liable for the state budget and public finances and his actions, but besides a barrack of actions regularly devastates them, and after nearly 2 years of government, it is more and more visible, due to the fact that the consequences of this devastation are increasingly felt by average people. It so happened that on the day that Minister Domanski gave this shocking tv interview, sipping the desire for revenge on his predecessors, his deputy Undersecretary of State Hanna Majszczyk responded to the debate brought by the Law and Justice Club concerning the dramatic financial situation of the budget after 3 quarters of this year and consequently, more broadly, besides public finances. And we gotta admit, she did not manage in this debate, due to the fact that hard data, published by the Ministry of Finance, clearly show that the implementation of the budget after 3 quarters is very bad, and consequently it is getting worse, besides with the state of public finances.
It turns out that for 9 months the budget gross amounted to only PLN 415 billion against the planned PLN 633 billion, which means that by the end of the year there is simply a shortage of as much as PLN 218 billion of revenue, while the average monthly budget gross this year is about PLN 53 billion. Thus, at least 1 month's budget gross is missing to carry out the planned revenue, i.e. more than PLN 50 billion, which means that the situation from the erstwhile year is repeated, erstwhile the planned gross lacked as much as PLN 56 billion. Interestingly, this is happening in a situation of decent economical growth (in 2024 it was 3% of GDP, this year around 3.5% of GDP) and inflation at around 4%, so the basis for determining the level of income, specified as VAT, increases by more than 7%. In a situation where GDP growth is planned to be 3.9% of GDP for 2026 and inflation of 3% (i.e. a nominal increase by nearly 7%) Minister Domański planned VAT gross at the level of PLN 341.5 billion, while this year it is expected to amount to PLN 350 billion. Thus, with advanced economical growth and 3% inflation VAT gross in 2026 is expected to be lower by PLN 8.5 billion than this year's, which is shocking and can be treated as an invitation to the Vatov mob to act on an even larger scale than before.
The consequence of the always worse situation in the 2 successive budgets is the fast deterioration of the situation of public finances, the budget deficit from budgets in the years 2024-2026 is about PLN 770 billion, and the public debt calculated by the ESA2010 method will grow by PLN 1.1 trillion to an astronomical amount of PLN 2.7 trillion. Public debt, which, after 8 years of the Law and Justice Government, has fallen from 51.6 percent of GDP in 2015 to 49.6% of GDP in 2023, is now expanding for 3 years, up to 17 pp from 49.6% of GDP to 66.3 percent of GDP. This is the fastest pace of debt across the EU, resulting in a sharp increase in public debt costs, which next year's budget will scope nearly PLN 90 billion, which is almost 2/3 of what we spend on the national defence budget.
According to these figures, Minister Domański actually lost control of the implementation of the budget in 2025, submitted an absurd draft budget for 2026, due to the fact that one more time for any budget expenditure as much as 1/3 of the funds will should be borrowed, but as it turns out, his focus is primarily revenge on predecessors. His answer to the journalist's question is whether his hand will shake at the vote to waive the immunity "that for specified moments you are in politics" will be with him forever no substance how his destiny in politics and beyond.
