A dispute over the reimbursement of nursing benefits. RPO intervenes

The Ombudsman intervenes on the controversial demands of the Śląskie and Pomeranian voivodes, who request the municipalities to reimburse their care benefits. According to the RPO, these actions conflict with the 2014 judgement of the Constitutional Court, which clearly challenged the criterion of the age of disability. The RPO calls on the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy to revise its position.
