I think this dialog is going on, workshops for kindergartens in POLIN Museum ! – of course paid – they started operating in 2015.https://polin.pl/en/pre-school The President

i.e. a fewer words about possible problems in communication between Poles of different generations

Sometimes speaking Polish you can have problems communicating not only with foreigners in Poland, but even with your own child, not to mention grandchildren :)))

Do we care about the purity and culture of the Polish language? Why do we accept common English?

Is the ever-wider bilingualism Polish/Ukrainian in public places, public institutions and state institutions – consistent with the constitution and with the latest Polish language law already 26 years oldU S T A W A of 7 October 1999 on the Polish language
etc., etc.
I think that it is worth discussing on Neon24 alternatively of the fewer that bring into the essence of the issue, and frequently grotesque ones – rebuttals about who and to what degree is "national" or "heir of noble ethos".

Since 2016, there has been a competition in Poland for the Youth Word of the Year.

The initiator and organizer of the plebiscite is the PWN technological Publishing House, and the aim of the competition is to show how young people usage the language – what words and phrases are crucial to them, fashionable or characteristic of their way of communication.

Short story:

2016 – first edition (winner of the word ‘shtos’),
Since then, the competition takes place all year, with a break in 2020 (the competition was then suspended due to controversy around any of the applications).
In the following years, the following words prevailed: xd (2017), pitcher (2018), alternate (2019), sleeper-collot (2021), essa (2022) and rel (2023).

"The intergenerational relations are the basis for the functioning of all society In conventional cultures, where oral transmission and customs played an essential role, seniors were treated as a treasury of cognition for many generations. The experiences of successive generations were similar. Today, unfortunately, we frequently feel that gathering generations is simply a confrontation between different cultures. Modern generations, though surviving at the same time and place, live in reality in different worlds

... They have their own dictionaries and constellations of symbols, cognitive categories and feelings patterns, forms of communication and models of friendship, myths and projects of the future. They are not only different environments or social strata – they are different cultures [Godlewski, 2002, p 60]

However, intergenerational relations cannot be understood without taking greater account of contemporary socio-cultural developments What distinguishes the present generation from the earlier generations is undoubtedly the growing, dominant function of young people in many areas of social, cultural and economical life.

As a consequence of the IT revolution, the fast improvement of mass media and wide access to information, the older generation has lost its attractiveness as an unconditional authority to convey only the right truths, opinions and beliefs Media and peers have become an crucial origin in cultural transmission In this way the balance of power between generations changed rapidly In many areas, specified as fresh media, fashion, free time, consumption, technology, this young generation gained the position of experts [Romanowska, 2012, p 59]

The genes of intergenerational dialog must so be sought in the multifaceted transformations that the 20th century has brought about and which have created a circumstantial communication gap between generations. It would seem that modern opportunities, specified as newer communication techniques, are conducive to dialog in all forms Unfortunately, it turns out that the excessive amount of incoming information is alternatively stifling dialogue, in peculiar between different generations It is easier to contact your peers, harder with younger or older people, speaking a small different language or utilizing another tools

According to the author, intergenerational dialog is simply a substance for all of us and each individual, due to the fact that appropriate explanation of the planet and self-understanding is not possible without intergenerational meetings. dialog between generations is simply a possible way to counter and prevent contemporary social problems. However, this requires active participation of both older and young people. dialog between generations is so a major challenge of our time."
