The alleged "syndal process" introduced by the erstwhile pope Francis breaks the unity of the Catholic Church. The German episcopate, who is the leader in its introduction, has just launched another tool for Protestantization and the actual slow liquidation of church structures in this country. This is about the Governments vocation of the alleged Synodal Conference – a body composed of bishops and laymen. Theoretically bishops hold the fullness of their power, but in practice they will gradually quit their exercise.
The disintegration of the church in Germany is entering a fresh phase. In the beginning of December this year, the Episcopate established a fresh organ – the Synod Conference. It consists of bishops and secular activists. According to the assumptions, the organ is to take over any of the competences of bishops in the field of church management. However, his provisions will not be mandatory at first. Due to the canon law in force in the Church, it will have an advisory character. 1 of the main promoters of changes in the Church in Germany, Archbishop of Freiburg, Stephan Burger, spoke about this.
– After intensive talks of respective bishops with Rome, we are on our way. For me, it is crucial to anchor a fresh body in church law. From the legal side, the Synod Conference will be an advisory body, as the body of the Episcopal Conference will be subordinate to it. We will sit together and make decisions. It is simply a fact that this body cannot legally exempt us bishops from the work which we as bishops bear in the dioceses – even if I myself take the councils of this assembly very seriously He stressed.
On the Synod Conference, as Archbishop Burger said, a decision was made to combine 2 perspectives. On the 1 hand, the Synod Conference as an advisory body does not in any way restrict the authority of the bishop. He does not make binding decisions, so from the formal side all bishop remains full liable for what he will implement in his own diocese. If otherwise, and if the Synod Conference had taken a binding decision, this would be a very serious problem.
This would mean that the diocese is no longer ruled by the bishop, but by a national collective of secular and bishops. In this situation 1 can talk of violating the apostolic structure of power in the Church. But that is not the end. Archbishop Burger announced ‘very serious treatment’ the provisions of the Synod Conference. This means that the hierarchs will not argue the will of the Synod Conference. In this way, the advisory body will exercise effective authority, ignoring authoritative canon law.
Thus, the bishop will hold only formal authority in the diocese, by making a provision made up of bishops and secular Conferences. In this sense, the change is truly deep and significant. Of course, it is not known whether all German bishops will respect the provisions of the Synod Conference. The 4 hierarchs, Cardinal Rainer Maria Woelki of Cologne and Bishops Rudolf Voderholzer of Ratizbona, Stefan Oster of Pasawa, and Gregor-Maria Hanke of Eichstätt, have been critical of this group.
The second had already retired, so there were 3 critics – 27 German diocesan bishops. It so appears that the Synod Conference will exercise real power over almost the full Church in Germany, with only theoretical and only locally practiced opposition to its decision. The effects are not hard to predict: there will be an even greater loosening of the dependence of the German Church on Rome and its Protestantization and transformation, towards a left-wing-liberal hawk, supporting all the whims of green and rainbow communists.
At the end of October this year, the school committee of the German Episcopal Conference presented a paper entitled ‘Created, redeemed and beloved’. The paper calls on schools to adopt an open and respectful approach to sexual diversity. erstwhile the Synod Conference is in place, it will only get worse.
