Military Aviation Plant No. 1 wants to make the Centre for the Maintenance and Support of Polish Armed Forces Helicopters and method Training Centre in Łódź. The British arms company is active in training military chopper pilots and machines utilized by services in the UK, Australia, Canada and France.

During International Defence manufacture Salon in Kielce, Babcock global Group and Polish Armed Forces Group SA they signed a strategical Cooperation Agreement (SCA) in which they undertook to strengthen cooperation in maritime and aviation areas. Both holding companies have worked together for respective years on the construction program for the Navy of the Republic of Poland 3 Codenamed rocket frigate Swordfish. These ships, which were commissioned by the PTZ Naval Shipyard, are based on the British frigate draft of the Arrowhead 140 type, which Babcock developed for the Royal Navy.

On 1 October, Babcock reported that as part of his closer cooperation with the Polish manufacture in the following areas, he signed a Memorandum of knowing (MoU) with the Military Aviation Plant No 1 of the PGZ. Under its power, the Centre for the Maintenance and Support of the Fleet of Helicopters of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and the method Training Centre is to be established in Łódź.

According to representatives of the British company, they have both resources and cognition to supply the Polish Army with comprehensive support for the fleet of military helicopters. The company is presently active in training soldiers and civilians in the UK, Canada, France and Australia. Importantly, in the countries mentioned, Babcock is besides liable for the servicing and repairing of rotors, which in any cases are leased to state institutions (e.g. rescue services).

In May, Babcock, Airbus (manufacturer of helicopters and aircraft) and CAE (manufacturers of simulators) signed a cooperation agreement whereby the companies undertook to offer the Polish Army a chopper training strategy based on the H145 device and the CAE simulator. In the consortium, Babcock is to be liable for the service and training of pilots and ground handling.
