Deputy minister faces charges: he may have contributed to cyclist's fall, breaking her arm

The territory Prosecutor's Office in Lublin accuses Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jacek Czerniak from Nowa Lewica of causing an accident. The politician allegedly failed to announcement a cyclist riding on the path. She braked and fell next to his car, breaking her arm in the process. The deputy minister does not admit guilt. He stated that the police study shows that the bicycle had a faulty rear brake.
