The Navy Department indicates the first shipyards to build LSM ships

On February 18, the U.S. Navy Department reported that it indicated 2 shipyards to begin building the first landing ships that are now under the designation LSM (Medium Landing Ship) and which are based on the Damen LST-100 project.
