In 2060, only 26 million people can live in Poland. Meanwhile, the United Right scares immigrants and does not care about birth growth. Programs 500 and 800 plus did not improve fertility in Poland.
Demography is simply a survey of the state, structure, natural movements and migration of the population. For these purposes, it uses statistical data that are constantly collected and builds models to illustrate current and future trends in a given population.
In Poland, the collection of data is carried out by the government agenda – Central Statistical Office. The institution regularly publishes reports on various areas of life, including, of course, demographic data. On the basis of these, the government is able to plan budgetary expenditure, e.g. on defence, education, wellness protection, social assistance and so on, and in the long word prepare mechanisms for growth or population decline. This besides applies to cities and municipalities.
Statistical studies on demography are a mirror in which the powers of parliament and government reflect, show the scale of successes or negligence, indicate the directions that should be chosen in the future to guarantee the appropriate functioning of the state and its inhabitants worthy and safe lives.
A fresh wave of protests organised by right-wing communities, under the slogan "stop of illegal emigration", pointed out that it was only about creating social unrest by scaring strangers to accomplish the intended political effects. The recipients of the message were individuals who were not intellectually independent, unstable, prone to false suggestions.
In Piotrków Trybunalski, the aversion to visitors from another non-European countries was linked to the discord to the beginning of the Center for the Integration of Foreigners, which the authorities of the United Right planned to make in a fewer years.
In 2022, the first 2 points were opened in the Opole and Wielkopolska voivodships, with a mark of 49. The current government, recognising the request to make centres, does not intend to give them up, but does not, on the another hand, hurry, due to the fact that it does not see specified a request at present. The wave of refugees that reached Poland after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine is already on us.
CIC's occupation is not to relocate migrants, I mean moving people from 1 country to another, but supporting foreigners legally residing in Poland and intending to live, work, integrate with society.
The institutions are to inform about regulations, services, rights and obligations, i.e. how to operate in a fresh place of residence. Their task is to aid learn language, find employment and others. The guidelines defined by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy do not foretell that foreigners even temporarily reside in the CIC. On the another hand, this attitude of the activists of the United Right should not be surprising, as Jarosław Kaczyński was never curious in demography, as in another areas of social life. In his opinion, they had no influence on the support of him or his party. Exception 2022 erstwhile he stated"There are besides fewer children born today. Not besides little, just besides little" and assured that social programmes would continue. Unfortunately, neither 500+ nor 800+ had the least impact on fertility improvement, only caused inflation to rise.
Migrants are Poland needed like air

As can be read on the CSO website at the end of the 1st 4th of 2025, the population of Poland was 37,437,000 people, i.e. by nearly 158 1000 little than a year ago and by over 52 1000 little than in the end of 2024. The rate of real failure in January this year amounted to -0.14%, which means that 14 people lost for all 10 1000 Polish residents (3 more than in the first 4th of the year).
At the end of 2018, about 2,455,000 permanent residents of Poland were temporarily residing outside Poland, almost 1.5 million more than in 2004. These were mostly economical trips, a large part of young, healthy, hardworking, frequently very well educated people remained in the West.

Click to enlarge.Therefore, if natural growth is negative, there is no incentive on the horizon to return to economical migrants, individual has to fill this gap. Otherwise, Poland is facing an economical and social collapse. Unfortunately, PiS activists do not supply a prescription to cure this situation. They like to attack utilizing populism and demagoguery alternatively than creating solutions.

The admission of migrants is evidently not the only component supporting the population. Family-friendly programmes, support for in vitro and, above all, economical development, which has been mentioned very small in the last decade and, if anything, only in a political context.
Forecasts
The results of the "Population Forecasts for the period 2023–2060" prepared by the CSO indicate a clear decline of the population by 2060. Analysts, optimistically, presume that about 35 million people will live in Poland, but do not exclude that there may be 30 million or even 27 million.
The ageing process of the Polish population is inevitable, there will be an increase in people aged 65 and a serious decline in citizens aged 0-17.
The study of the office reads: the resources of working-age people will shrink. According to the results of the forecast, this decrease by 2060 will be between 25% in a low to 40% script in a advanced scenario. This will consequently lead to an increase in the demographic burden on the non-productive population. In 2022, there were 70 people of non-productive age (0-17, 60+/65+). By 2060 it will be 105 people (according to the main scenario).
