If communication systems are said to be the nerve of the army, then the radio line R-460AM Transbit can be described as a key component of the tense strategy of the fresh air defence strategy of our country. The device operates in the IV band and provides communication channels with a very advanced data transmission velocity – up to 600 Mbps in both directions. The radioline scope depends on the tallness of radio masts – in the optimal version it reaches about 40 km.

An Ingenious Workshop

The designation of the Defenders' jury was besides gained by Karavano, a mobile transport and retention platform with a power generator developed by engineers from Arpol Professional Tools. – This is the solution in which we chose modularity. The platform based on a 10-foot container can be placed on a chassis or trailer, and its interior, divided into a aggregate and workshop zone, can be arranged to a large degree utilizing specialized rails and building elements, e.g. cabinets," explains Klepczyński Kacper, the main designer of the awarded solution.

Smart drone

The last of the solutions presented in our series is an autonomous vehicle of medical evacuation codenamed “Zuraw”. This is the consequence of investigation and improvement of engineers from the consortium of the Military Institute of Armoured and car Technology and the company Chema DS.

As the representatives of the Military Institute of Armoured and car Technology supply a medical unmanned vehicle, although it is only a prototype, it can get to mass production and service in the Polish army very rapidly in about six months.
