Decision of the Tokyo court: ban on single-sex marriages consistent with the Constitution

The ban on one-sex matrimony is consistent with the constitution - this decision was made by the Tokyo Regional ultimate Court on Friday. Japan is the only G7 country that does not warrant matrimony equality for couples. The Amnesty global organization described the ruling as "a harmful step backwards in the issue of same-sex marriage".
