The manager of the BRPO Soldiers and Officers Team, Tomasz Oklepa, pointed out that directing soldiers to tasks of a police, rescue, counter-terrorism nature, e.g. in pandemics and at the border may affect inadequate behaviours resulting from a deficiency of appropriate preparation. He cited examples from Brussels, where, after being entrusted with police tasks, many complaints came out of unwarranted force against residents and from Africa - where many who were seconded to action in the hemorrhagic fever epidemic, deficiency of preparation paid for wellness or life.
