– In my opinion, it is at least unusual that any party, wishing to seriously appear on the political stage, may have suffered specified an oversight – says Wojciech Hermelinski, erstwhile head of PKW. This is how he evaluates Sławomir Mentzen's problems. The Warsaw territory Court received a request from the PKW to remove its fresh Hope group from the registry of political parties. The case was first informed by the Republic of Poland.

Minister Rafał Tkacz, head of the National Election Office, referred to the case in an interview with Onet. According to Article 36c(1) of the Political organization Act, The PKW is required to file a request to the court to remove the batch if it has not submitted the financial statements within the time limit.

He pointed out that "this will be a problem for Mr Mentzen". If the court removes the organization from the register, its statutory bodies, the board of directors, the review committee, and the organization itself ceases to be as a legal entity. – Everything depends on the party's statutes. due to the fact that it's depending on the party's assets, or it could be passed on to any fresh political entity or not. In total, a breach of the law, which is not to study on time, has serious consequences and in my opinion it is at least unusual that any party, who wanted to seriously appear on the political stage, may have suffered specified a oversight," said Hermelinski.
Let us remind that Sławomir Mentzen finished 3rd in the first circular of the 2025 presidential election, winning 14.81% of the vote. This consequence may be crucial in the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections. However, the PKW movement may overturn this.
