Denmark strengthens forces in Greenland

Denmark's defence minister Troels Lund Poulsen openly spoke of plans "to importantly increase the engagement of the Danish armed forces in Greenland" and of the greater presence of NATO allies' troops. Currently, the Danish forces in Greenland have about 250–300 troops and are under Arctic Command based in Nuuk.
