Let us remind that in January president Donald Trump and members of his administration raised the subject of Greenland joining the US. This case sparked a reaction from European allies who began declaring support for Denmark (although in the form of symbolic sending soldiers to the island). They besides assured that if Washington was afraid that China and Russia would increase influence in the Arctic, European states could increase their military presence in the north. Despite many pressures, and even claims about Greenland's forceful uplift, the subject went silent during the Davos summit, and completely disappeared with the start of the U.S. and Israel's war with Iran.
