In the first half of June, the Danes announced the acquisition of as many as 3 different short-range air defence systems, which was rather an unexpected move. It was declared to rent 1 NASAMS fire unit from the Norwegians and acquisition a German IRIS-T SLM, and a French VL MICA (also suggesting that they be acquired in the number of 1 fire unit).
