Simon Holown's announcement that on 13 November he would resign as talker of the Sejm, provided that Vice-President of Poland 2050 Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz became Deputy Prime Minister, triggered a tension chain in the coalition on 13 December. Clearly, Donald Tusk's disliked minister of funds and regional policy will now be fiercely fought by the acolytes of the Prime Minister. For now, the brutal attack on Pełczyńska-Nałęcz was carried out by Euro MP Marta Wcisło.
