Does Tusk truly believe he'll bribe the president?
In the draft budget for next year, Donald Tusk's government predicted spending of PLN 325 million on the President's Chancellery – an increase of 8.9% compared to the current year.
PLN 325 million for Nawrocki!
It is worth recalling that Tusk already increased Tusk's budget by 14% in 2024. At the time, this could be justified – it was about budget increases, support for president Elek Nawrocki and briefings for the outgoing ministers of Duda.
The earlier increase was besides understood as recorded in the draft budget for 2024, prepared by the Law and Justice Government. This party, expecting a possible election defeat, wanted to supply its staff with a "soft landing" at the President's Chancellery.
But why is Tusk continuing this trend?
Does he truly believe that a larger budget can be "compromised" Nawrocki and make him halt blocking the government's actions? It's naive thinking. Nawrocks repeatedly showed that his The aim is to destruct the government – even at the expense of Poland and Poles.
By expanding the funds of the Chancellery, Tusk de facto hands over more money to the president, and thus besides a tool for even more effective torpedoing of government activities.
Is this a manifestation of political naivety, or is it an act of political suicide?
