It appears that no of the declared war objectives will be achieved. There will be neither the overthrow of the regime, nor the liquidation of the atomic program, rocket program or support for regional terrorist vassals. Iran will likely come out reinforced, with at least partially lifted, sanctions, and preserved, at least partially, control of the Ormuz Strait. Despite this, Trump wants to end the unpopular war he started in the election year as shortly as possible. Will Benjamin Netanyahu prevent him?
